Howdy, I’m Colin

about…

I’ve been a bit of an adventurous spirit in my time on this beautiful blue orb we call home. Meaning I like to try new things and engage a variety of experiences. Along those lines I’ve had multiple careers in my fifty something years on this journey. Spent three years as a soldier in the army. Six years getting a BA and MA in psychology after that. Then another five years as a research coordinator at a major university. Moving on from that I became a pilot and flew for several years but 9/11 ended that career path though it didn’t put a dent in my love of aviation. Spent many years in technology from corporate IT to non-profit work to freelance web design and consulting. I’ve delved into writing several times in the past and now enjoy writing inspiring or helpful pieces on medium.

Through all this I have had a deep spiritual inclination and long term spiritual practice. I’m a longtime practitioner of mindfulness and meditation and the primary focus of my life is inner peace and the creative expression of that peace in my actions.

Can AI be creative?

Depends on what we think of as creative The day is here. I’m not sure exactly when it came and went but it has. AI has now become a useable tool that can generate everything from writing to art to design. Sure AI has been around for a while but until recently its been...
